Center Amenities

Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) is the location of our business office and family center. The center offers guests a comfortable place to watch TV, play video games, play cards/games, read and enjoy snacks and beverages. Our volunteers attend to our guest and provide valuable information regarding our programs and services, which are primarily implemented from this location.

Gen. Mitchell Intl. Airport

The airport center is open for military and veteran families traveling through the airport. We offer guests a secure and comfortable place to watch TV, play video games, read, enjoy snacks and beverages, as well as toys for children to play with. Volunteers attend to guests and provide travel support. The center can be divided, offering a private room for families to say their "good-byes" and support the needs of families of the fallen and the dignified transfer process. The center is open daily including holidays.

We need your help! The USO of Wisconsin is dedicated to bringing "goodness" to the men and women who proudly serve in the U.S. Armed Forces and their families by providing support and morale-boosting programs and services through cooperative relationships between the US military communities and other supporting civilian communities.

We are a 501(c) 3, non-profit organization proudly serving the over 25,000 military service members and their families in Wisconsin. The USO has had a continuous presence in Wisconsin since 1943. In 1984 we incorporated as a Charter Center of the USO organization. As a Chartered Center, the USO of Wisconsin is solely supported by the generosity of private citizens, veteran's organizations, community organizations, corporate gifts and foundation grants. We receive no financial support from the government, military. Additionally, we do not receive direct financial support for the USO worldwide organization.

We greatly appreciate contributions to the USO of Wisconsin Center at Gen. Mitchell Intl. Airport. In appreciation for your donation you will receive acknowledgement on our website. For monetary donations at a level of $500.00 or higher, your name will be added to a plaque that will be permanently and proudly displayed in the airport center. Thank you for your support.
